Abstract :The article talks about the Azerbaijani pedagogical press and its history. It is noted that as ideology changes, so does society. The new ideology requires fundamental changes in the content of education, the creation of new schools, the formation of new pedagogical ideas. Ideas aimed at the development of education, the results of scientific research are reflected in the pages of the pedagogical press. So, the place where pedagogical theory and practice meet is the pedagogical press. The article also considers the development directions of pedagogical media in Azerbaijan, the direction, teaching and enlightenment activities of "Azerbaijan School" magazine, "Azerbaijan Muallimi" newspaper, which has been a companion of our education for many years in the implementation of reforms in the field of education, research of problems, study of advanced world and national pedagogical experience justified.
